"I came to the Family Communication Workshop on my own, not with my husband. I wasn't sure it made sense to come alone, but it did. I left with three or four things I could actually try, not just a feeling that someone had listened to me complain."

"The Facilitation Skills Training was genuinely useful. I manage a team that handles conflict mediation at a school, and the frameworks we covered were clear and adaptable. The facilitator was good at staying neutral even when the role-plays got a bit heated."

"The Information Seminar was the right place to start. I went without knowing much about what kind of support was available. The signposting list they gave out was more detailed than I expected, and the Q&A at the end was helpful."
Relationship Information Seminar — June 2025
Somchai Thammasat

"My adult children and I attended the workshop together, which I was nervous about. The facilitator managed to keep things balanced without making anyone feel singled out. I didn't expect it to feel as low-pressure as it did."
Family Communication Workshop — May 2025

"I work in HR and the Facilitation Skills Training covered ground I hadn't found elsewhere in Bangkok in English. The pace was good, though I would have liked more time on the de-escalation section. All in all I'd go back if they add a follow-up format."

"Very practical. The turn-taking exercises in the workshop felt a bit odd at first but they made sense once we were doing them. I've used the technique twice since and it works. I appreciated that they were clear about what the session is and isn't."

Participant Journeys
Three Situations, Three Starting Points
These are composites drawn from patterns across sessions — identifying details have been changed.
Situation
Siblings navigating a parent's care
Three adult siblings who had not lived together for years found themselves unable to agree on decisions about their ageing parent's arrangements. Every conversation became circular.
Session Used
Family Communication Workshop
All three attended together. The session focused on structured turn-taking, which meant each person had time to finish a thought without interruption for the first time in months.
What Changed
A shared format for future conversations
They left with an agreed structure for their next discussion. Within two weeks they had reached a provisional arrangement. The session didn't decide anything — it made deciding less exhausting.
"We've had the same argument for six months. Coming here didn't resolve it, but it changed how we were having it." — Workshop participant
Situation
Community centre needing a facilitator
A neighbourhood community centre ran monthly residents' meetings that frequently ran off course. The coordinator wanted to be able to manage discussions more effectively without coming across as heavy-handed.
Session Used
Facilitation Skills Training
Attended over two half-days. The role-play exercises were particularly useful — the coordinator was able to practise redirecting a difficult participant without shutting anyone down.
What Changed
Meetings that end on time
Three months after the training, the coordinator reported that average meeting length had dropped by around 35 minutes and the atmosphere was noticeably calmer. She now runs two community sessions a month using the frameworks.
"I thought I knew how to run a meeting. The training showed me the difference between managing a room and facilitating one." — Training participant
Situation
Expat unsure where to start
A recently arrived expat was dealing with a family situation and had no idea what was available in Bangkok. She didn't want to commit to anything intensive before knowing what she was getting into.
Session Used
Relationship Information Seminar
The seminar gave her an overview of communication approaches and a vetted list of English-language resources available in Thailand. She left knowing the difference between what an education session can offer and what a professional service can.
What Changed
A clearer sense of next steps
She contacted one of the organisations from the resource list the following week. She also came back for the Family Communication Workshop two months later. The seminar was the right first step.
"I didn't know what I needed. Coming to the seminar helped me work that out." — Seminar participant
